About Essential Knowledge:

The Primer for the Adult Years (The Gap Year Companion) was a several year undertaking to arrive at the essential knowledge for a number of core academic subjects. Education can provide the individual with, among other important things, a framework for understanding modern life. Theh goal of the primer was to process and distill available information in order to provide a shortcut to acquiring this knowledge. The final result being The Primer, which I feel is a fairly comprehensive, but one might argue that it is too exhaustive. These efforts in the form of quizzes, thousand word essays, and occasional one page epiphanies may be of some use to you.
